Falling film evaporator has made great contribution to the mankind progress. With simple operation, higher working performance, LH falling film evaporator have been widely used in many different field, including: hyper saline waste water treatment, organic waste water treatment, paint production waste water treatment, paper mill waste water treatment etc.

The work flow of LH falling film evaporator:

The liquid material will be pumped to upside of the heating chamber, from where the liquid material is divided evenly into each heating exchange tube. Under the action of gravity and vacuum induction and air flow, the liquid material move down from upside. In the process of flowing, the shell with high temperature from heating vapor, will vaporize the liquid material. Then, the liquid & vapor will enter the separator where the liquid and vapor is fully separated. The vapor enter next effect for further reuse or enter the steam compressor for re-compression. The liquid will be discharged from separator.

The mainly parts of LH falling film evaporator:

Pre-heater, heating chamber, liquid-vapor separator, vacuum pump sets, water cooling system, PLC smart control system etc.If the client has a big project with higher capacity treatment requirement, we recommend MVR falling film evaporator. MVR falling film evaporator is close loop energy saving evaporation system. From long term, the MVR system can save over 50%-80% cost compared with traditional MVR system.

Centrifugal steam compressor is the key part for MVR falling film evaporator. LH company have different type for option:

Different type compressor is recommended according to the clients’ job conditions. Normally, we recommend high speed motor driven centrifugal compressor for smaller capacity falling film evaporator (eg. 5-10tons/h). For bigger capacity falling film evaporator, we recommend gearbox driven type centrifugal compressor.
